Record data transfer on New Year’s Eve in the Yettel network

During New Year's Eve, 385.73 TB of data were exchanged through the Yettel network, which is 30 percent more than last year

Belgrade, January 1 - Between 11 p.m. on December 31, 2022 and 11 a.m. on January 1, 2023, a million and a half (1,455,654) calls and three million (3,060,253) text messages (SMS) were delivered.

During New Year's Eve and the first morning of the new year, 50,477 text messages were sent abroad, while the number of calls abroad during that period was 7,197.

This New Year's Eve as well, our customers were active on social media, so compared to last New Year's Eve, 18 percent more messages were delivered in this way. On social media, there were 1.8 million customers active, which shows a growth of 24 percent compared to last year.

Almost 40 percent of Hipernet customers spent the evening watching TV programs. The most watched shows were entertainment shows broadcasted on domestic TV channels (RTS 1, Pink, Prva, Kurir TV, Happy – listed in order of viewership, where RTS 1 is the most watched).
