First joint activity of Mountain Rescue Service and Yettel

Kopaonik, July 8 – Mountain Rescue Service held its regular rescue exercise from the cable railway on Mt. Kopaonik, on the Sunčana dolina track. The aim of this exercise for new members of GSS was to be able to assist citizens in such and similar situations. 

Sixteen new candidates who will become active members of the service after the completed training attended the exercise, along with nine existing experienced rescuers. The training lasted over the weekend. This is the first activity that the Mountain Rescue Service carried out since making a partnership with Yettel. 

In the next period, Yettel and GSS will work on ensuring the safest possible stay in nature for all citizens.
