Yettel Account – Terms of Service

By using a Yettel Account (hereinafter the “Account”), you agree to these Terms of Service (hereinafter the “Terms”), as well as to their future revisions and versions.

The Terms will be periodically updated or amended and subsequently published on Yettel’s websites. The Yettel Account is the property of Yettel d.o.o., Omladinskih brigada 90, 11070 Novi Beograd (hereinafter “Yettel”).

I. Service Description

The purpose of the Yettel Account service is to create and manage a single user account through which the User may log in to other Yettel services that require log-in.

The Account is intended for natural persons, regardless of whether they use Yettel services or not (hereinafter the “User”). A Yettel Account User is a person who has completed the entire registration process, i.e., has successfully registered the Account by activating the confirmation link received via email, or by entering the one-time code received via SMS.

The Account is intended solely for non-commercial, personal use and access.

II. Registration and Use of the Yettel Account

Registration, email, password, and phone number

To use Yettel’s services, the User must register their Yettel Account. Any Internet user may register, regardless of the mobile operator whose services they use or the country in which they are located.

To register, the User must have a valid email address or phone number. This email address or phone number is required for the account validation process. If, after registration, the User changes their email address, they are obliged to notify Yettel of this change. Likewise, if the User changes other personal data submitted in the Account, they must update such changes in the Account settings.

The password is confidential information and the User must not disclose it to third parties or websites. If the User has reason to believe that their password is being used by another person, they must immediately change it and notify Yettel d.o.o. of the misuse. The User is responsible for any actions carried out with their password, as well as for any loss of confidential data resulting therefrom. In the event of a violation of the Terms, Yettel reserves the right to cancel the User’s Account without prior notice.

A phone number is required during registration, as users of Yettel d.o.o. mobile telephony or mobile Internet services will receive an SMS message at that number containing a code for linking their phone and the Account.

The phone number of users who do not use Yettel d.o.o. mobile telephony or mobile Internet services will be used solely to verify the User’s status (whether they use Yettel d.o.o. telephony or mobile Internet services) and to inform them about Yettel services, provided the User has given explicit consent. The phone number will not be used for any other purpose.

Usage

By registering an Account, the User gains access to Yettel’s online services/applications (Yettel portal, Yettel application, Web Shop, etc.).

If the User wishes to use one of Yettel’s online applications, they must give explicit consent to that application to use the Yettel Account as a login method, as well as to access the data provided during Account creation. By granting such consent, the User also accepts the Terms of Service of the application in question.

The User may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent can be done through the Account settings. Withdrawing consent terminates the connection between the application and the Yettel Account, and the User will no longer be able to use that application.

It is the User’s responsibility to protect their privacy when using the Yettel Account and other Yettel services. Yettel recommends that the User log out of Yettel’s services every time they finish using them, especially when accessing them from public computers.

The User undertakes to do everything in their power to prevent anyone else from gaining possession of their phone or other device connected to the Yettel Account, and to prevent any unauthorized access to their Account.

Yettel bears no responsibility for any damage resulting from unauthorized use of the User’s email and password, unauthorized use of a device connected to the Account, or unauthorized access to other Yettel services.

The User who registers the Account provides their email address or phone number and password for the purpose of account authorization. If the User suspects unauthorized use of their credentials, they are obliged to immediately report such unauthorized use by third parties to Yettel. The User is responsible for all costs arising from unauthorized use of their credentials until they notify Yettel of suspected misuse. The User is also responsible for all unauthorized activities performed under the Account. The User alone is responsible for any unauthorized use of their email address, phone number, and/or password used to access Yettel services (such as the portal, Yettel application, Web Shop, etc.).

Account Deactivation

If the User does not agree with the Terms or no longer wishes to use the Account, they must deactivate it.

Account deactivation is performed in the Yettel Account settings. By deactivating the Account, the User will lose access to Yettel’s online services that require use of the Account, and the login credentials (email and password) may then be used to create a new Account.

If the User does not wish to receive information about Yettel products and services, they may terminate the link between their phone number and the Account. Termination of this link will disable access to information about Yettel products and services, as well as the use of services based on the User’s number. If the Account was created using a phone number, in the event of a change of ownership or deactivation of the number, the Account will automatically be deactivated.

Entire Terms of Service

The Terms and the Privacy Policy together constitute integral parts of the Terms of Service governing the relationship between the User and the Account. By accepting the Terms, the User also accepts the Privacy Policy.

Notices

Yettel reserves the right to periodically send information about future changes to the portal, as well as messages of commercial content, to the email address provided during registration or to the mobile phone number, or to display such information on its websites.

III Final Provisions

Account Updates and Modifications

Yettel reserves the right to amend the data contained in the Account, in which case Users will be duly notified.

Yettel reserves the right to amend the Terms of Service contained in these legal notices, by publishing such amendments on Yettel’s websites. Such amendments shall take effect immediately upon publication on the portal. By continuing to use the Yettel Account, you agree to the amendments.

Jurisdiction

The relationship between the User and Yettel is governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Belgrade.
