The Science Picnic rallied five thousand visitors
Belgrade, May 19 – More than five thousand people visited the
Science Picnic, held on May 17 and 18 in the organization of the Festival of
Science in the Arboretum of the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade, under the
slogan "Think green.”
The event rallied a large number of students, teachers, and professors, as well as families, who decided to spend part of their weekend in exciting scientific fun. Visitors could see 18 interactive scientific presentations, workshops, and exhibitions with 130 scientific communicators.
The partner of the Science Picnic was the Yettel Foundation, which
introduced itself with a story "ŠUMA.net", on plant languages, which
we have just started discovering, and an incredible theory on an underground
network that connects the forest into a community.
The program lasted two days and was free for the visitors.
