New recycling program in Yettel
Over two million devices recycled till now
Belgrade, February 4, 2026 – For the fifth year in a row, Company Yettel is conducting a device recycling campaign and thus stimulating a responsible relation towards electronic waste and human environment. The Company long-term goal is to recycle, together with customers, 2.7 million devices by the end of 2027. As a part of the new program, customers who recycle their old device get a discount of 15,000 RSD, with additional 5,000 RSD of discount when purchasing one of six selected Samsung models: A26, A36, A56, S25, S25 Ultra 256 GB and S25 Ultra 512 GB. From the beginning of program in 2021, till today, Yettel and its customers have gathered over two million old devices.
“Customers want to stay in touch with technological innovations, but also make responsible decisions when it comes to environmental protection. Our recycling program makes that precisely possible – to deliver their old devices in a simple way, save when buying new device and, at the same time, contribute to the preservation of their surroundings. Practically every device bought in Yettel can be brought for recycling, whether it is a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, smart watch, MiFi device, router, recharger, headphones or Bluetooth speakers. The process is simple, quick and doesn’t require additional steps”, said Aleksandra Mišić Dodić, Consumer and Digitalisation Department Director.
And that’s not the only news from Yettel. Following the digitalisation trend, Yettel postpaid customers can now sign the contract completely online. That means that they can see the service in Yettel application, select the offer, identify themselves, buy everything online and get the SIM card to their e-mail.
“For us, Yettel application is the basic channel for communication with customers, and we are constantly introducing new functionalities. The market recognises that, so that recently, based on the result of research conducted in 2025 by independent international organisation ICERIAS among users of telecommunication services in Serbia, we won the Best Buy Award in the category the Best Mobile Application”, added Mišić Dodić.
