Donation of a painting to the National Museum

Belgrade, March 7, 2025 – Yettel donated the painting “The Sower” by Borivoje K. Radenković to the National Museum of Serbia, following an initiative by the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications. The donation was presented by Mike Michel, CEO of Yettel, in the presence of Dejan Ristić, Minister of Information Technologies, and Bojana Borić-Brešković, Director of the National Museum.

“As a telecommunications company, we know how important is to convey the right messages. That’s why we are proud that the message of the painter Borivoje K. Radenković will be conveyed through his artistic creativity to all visitors of the museum. For already 20 years, through different projects we have been supporting the community in which we operate, so that this gesture of ours is also our modest contribution to the richness of the cultural heritage of Serbia“, stressed Mike Michel, CEO of Company Yettel.

Namely, the National Museum of Serbia needed to enrich the collection of fine arts with this work of the outstanding Serbian painter, which was till now privately owned. The painting was created between 1912 and 1914, and it is oil on canvas, dimensions 90 x 109.5 cm.

“I would particularly like to thank the company Yettel and its CEO, Mike Michel, on this noble gesture that shows how successful cooperation between state institutions and socially responsible companies can bring lasting values to our society. With this valuable gift made to the National Museum of Serbia, we not only enrich its collections of fine arts, but lastingly save important works of art and their authors from historic and human oblivion,“ pointed out Dejan Ristić, Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies.

“This gift represents an example of how, with joined forces, we can enhance and preserve our national artistic heritage for future generations,“ concluded Borić-Bošković
