Yettel Wins Two Awards at the CSR & ESG Forum

Belgrade, December 8, 2025 – At this year’s CSR & ESG Forum, organized by Smart Kolektiv, Yettel once again demonstrated that sustainability and social responsibility are not just initiatives, but an integral part of the company’s everyday practice. Yettel received the “Green Step of the Year” award for its Recycling Program, while the Youth Program was recognized with the “Youth & Careers” award. These acknowledgments highlight the company’s commitment to green initiatives and the development of young talent.

“Our Recycling Program has become one of our most recognizable green projects. We’ve made it easy for users and citizens to return any device purchased at Yettel for recycling, helping raise environmental awareness and encouraging long-term sustainable habits,” said Milica Begenisić, ESG Manager at Yettel.

Every device returned for recycling contributes to a cleaner and healthier future. So far, Yettel has collected 1,976,241 devices, significantly reducing the amount of electronic waste in the environment. As the company notes, this motivates them to continue until they reach their 2027 goal of 2.7 million recycled devices.

The Youth Program is an initiative that offers graduates the opportunity to start their careers at the company and receive support in learning and development. It aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies of young people through a structured, hands-on development program. In the past two years alone, more than 20,000 students have participated in Yettel’s activities, positioning the company as a reliable partner to the academic community and one of the most desirable employers for the new generation of talent. Yettel is especially proud that 31% of students who completed their internship in 2025 continued their careers within the company.
