Donation of phones to Liceulice organisation
Belgrade, 27. February 2025. - Yettel has donated 30 smart phones to sales staff of the magazine Liceulice within the campaign of collecting funds for the program members.
“As a company fully committed to providing support to the community, it is a great pleasure when we can give a contribution to groups which are at risk in any way“, said Milica Begenišić, ESG Manager in Yettel, who presented this donation on behalf of the company.
As of 2010, the organisation Liceulice is implementing programs of direct support to marginalised groups, with the goal of their greater socialisation and economic inclusion. The program is implemented through different activities, based on the principles of social entrepreneurship. The most visible activity is the publishing and sale of the magazine Liceulice. The salesmen network consists of people who find jobs the hardest, and they earn fifty percent from each sold copy.
“We are overwhelmed by the great turnout to our drive of used phones collection for the sales staff of the magazine Liceulice, and are specially thankful for larger donations, such as one that came from the company Yettel Serbia. Thirty smart phones donated by our friends from Yettel will bring greater security, better connectivity and make getting around in daily work easier for our thirty salesmen. Thank you! Together we are building more solidarity-oriented community“, says Sandra Đurić-Milanov, PR of the Liceulice organisation.
